Re: Caroline Garcia

not a bad draw but not the best neither, once again radwanska... I would like her to get her revenge from her awful loss at RG but for that she really needs a game plan, come to the net also

we'll see

Re: Caroline Garcia

Yeah i think she should make the third round at least. That would not be a bad result for her given she has nothing to defend here.

Allez Caro!

Re: Caroline Garcia

I think it's a good draw for Caroline with a very winnable first round match.

Good luck!

Re: Caroline Garcia

no limits caro

here the finale highlights :
sevastova was tricky with her angles and BH slices so yes great effort for caroline

she was also very happy cause it was father day, I think she just love her dad and you can see it
of course her mum too.
I think to ave this slam breakthrough she can have both her dad and an expert (such as amélie )

she looks so happy and she changed her mind about grass now so it is a good thing

Re: Caroline Garcia

Caro!!!!

A great mental effort from her again this week. I believe she has improved in the past year and it's starting to pay off for her. Third tournament in a row she has won a title

And now the French number one (where she belongs) and seeded for Wimbledon. Allez!!!!

I think she moves to 15 or 16 in the race too. Top 20 finish is a very realistic possibility if she can keep this up

I am very happy with the way she played and held herself together this week. The game has always been there, but now it seems she has also improved mentally and tactically.

I am not expecting too much now for Wimbledon, but with a good draw and some newfound self-belief she will maybe be able to do some damage there.

yes she now can believe : "yes I can also play good on grass so let's go for it"

I think she could ask amélie mauresmo to help her during wimbledon, alond side with kiki

amélie is open to help, that's how she did with marion bartoli when she won it

I dont say it will be the same scenario lol but caro always playing good when the fed cup captain is there to work with her

it would be a "bonus" there

Re: Caroline Garcia

she won 6-3 6-4

it was far from being easy at the start of this tournament but she kept fighting and believing in herself

well done Caro, you show there that you can play on EVERY SURFACES

so now she'll be a seed at wimbledon, well done

Re: Caroline Garcia

So basically is Caro wins tomorrow, both Kiki and Caro will be seeded (32 and 31!), but if she loses, she will miss the seeding by one spot, unless someone withdraws.

Re: Caroline Garcia

I know her a bit, this sevastova girl from the same generation as caro and kiki, she's very talented even if she was injured most of the time

she is kind of a original player, playing slice and hitting angles. Caro will have to play agressive and serve well

Allez Caro!
