Re: Other Croatian juniors

Well done Ana.

I would like to see some young promising player starting to rise through challengers, we always had someone like that and now it is kind of nobody there.

Re: Other Croatian juniors

Biskic qualified for Antalya 15k this week

She beat 3 unranked teenagers, 14 y.o. Turkmen 6:2, 6:1, 16 y.o. Brust 6:1, 6:0 and 19 y.o. Iakovleva 6:2, 6:3.

Now, however, she plays the 4th seed Sezer (WTA 451, c-h 336) in MD R1. Oh well, if nothing else it'll be a good experience.

But you never know...

This Samardzić gurl is playing IW pre Q tournament.
Won 1st round vs Sarah Schupp 6-1 6-0
but this Schupp never was ranked, she plays just some american tournaments with bad results:

But anw she seems to be a cool woman:

Very interesting read about Sasha Oliynykova's story and why her family fled from Ukraine to Croatia and she's started to play for Ukraine

Sashka's Story - sashkatennis.com

Sarita has gifted her some material (her parents are struggling financially) Big changes are coming - thanks to Sara Errani - thanks to #TeamSashka members - blog updates - sashkatennis.com

She has a very touching story, really makes me want to root for her to reach her full potential
