I understand people in the arts wanting to "spread their wings" so to speak. But it's amazing how many people who are/were on successful TV series thought they were going to go on to become big movie stars. And they make a couple of flops and wind up back on the telly.

Caruso left and made a couple of movies and wound up on CSI: Miami.

Patrick Duffy thought he was going to parlay his Dallas role into a movie starring career. Didn't happen. Dallas had to come up with that shower scene where Victoria Principal dreamed the entire previous season so that Duffy could come back to the gravy train. The best thing about that scene was that it set up the great ending for Newhart.

And of course Taraji Henson left Person of Interest to be a movie star and made that mess with Idris Elba which went to DVD in about a week and a half and now she's back on TV with Empire.

Folks better learn to ride that TV gravy train to the end of the line. The Will Smiths are few and far between.

Re: The Good Wife

I'm catching up on the series on my Amazon Prime. I'm way back in season 3 where they are still making fun of Anthony Wiener A.K.A. Carlos Danger.

I love the scene where Eli curses the day that politicians found out about Twitter.

Blah! Although the season was great. That scene was pretty silly between the two, obviously not shot at the same time.

Michael J, Fox is really good in this role, would love to see him and Alicia destroy the other firm. Diane has turned into a stooge and that red outfit was awful.

I didn't love the finale... I'm hopeful the show sort of re-boots next year. Alicia needs a divorce attorney, and should go solo in law.

Re: The Good Wife

The BS Both creators are talking about the scene where Kalinda and Alicia are back together and how emotional it was. It's complete BS. They didn't even film together. They clearly stitched the scenes together to make it look like they're next to each others while they're not at all. And it's badly done. So unprofessional from the two actresses and the producers to put lies like this on TV. They should have stopped with Kalinda long ago before the situation got so ridiculous.

They better not think about a Canning-Alicia partnership. They just said in interviews that Alicia was an underdog again and was going to take the cases she wants. If season 7 is Canning and Florrick vs Lockhart, Agos and Lee, it will just be season 5 all over again.

And getting rid of Finn too After Johnny Like when will Alicia realise that Peter, despite being good support, doesn't care about her that much. He'll run and she'll be all alone. It's time to divorce damn.

Finale made me angry

There are rumours flying around that that's the reason why Archie and Julianna haven't been in the same scene since two seasons ago.

Apparently Kalinda will be back for the finale and there will be a Alicia-Kalinda scene:

A lot of fans had presumeed that Kalinda's (Archie Panjabi) character arc had been concluded on the latest episode of The Good Wife but then the showrunners suggested that the detective will make an appearance in the finale.

The suggestion was very open ended with the assumption that she could also appear in a flashback. But a new report by TVLine states that it will be more than that and will give fans what they have been seeking for a long time. The publication has it from a good source, that Kalinda and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) will get a moment to seek closure, and the scene will be heartbreaking in the finale episode, titled 'Old Issues.'

Co-creator Robert King spoke about building things up to this momentous occasion. It "is very much intentional to raise expectations," he said. King also added that fans should "stay tuned."

Alicia Going To 'Stay Away From Politics,' Julianna Margulies Dishes

In a previous interview with Entertaiment Weekly, showrunner Michelle King had already revealed that Kalinda would be returning for the finale.

Michelle stated that this was not the last of Kalinda, and that the detective would appear in the finale of season 6. "Yes. We will see her," she said.

She went on to reveal that fans wouldn't be left with an open, loose ended conclusion to Kalinda's story, as seemed likely in the last episode, titled 'The Deconstruction.' There is more to come and it will hopefully render a more neat completion to the detective's story on the show.

The next episode, titled 'Don't Fail,' will air on May 3 on CBS.

Re: The Good Wife

I want Alicia to create a firm with all the "villains" like Louis Canning, Nancy Crozier, Patti Nyholm. Use that firm to destroy Lockhart, Agos and Lee. And then start a nice little firm called Florrick and Polmar

Re: The Good Wife

I'm thinking Kalinda left her some evidence in that envelope to get back the SA spot or get even with someone on the show or something that will give the season end a great twist, or nudies of Peter. One of those two. I hope it's the first one, Alicia has seen Peter nude in the past and they won't show those on network television.

Re: The Good Wife

That was so underwhelming , I swear those producers had something against Archie because that goodbye was WEAK very WEAK.

Re: The Good Wife

This season is so up and down , all season about Alicia's SA race and now she has to withdraw... I hope there is some twist.
Archie is leaving and she's barely getting any air time, they are probably just saving it for the last episode but it's disappointing how underused she has been!

A Break this week, and 3 episodes left.
