Did you watch the whole match?

It feels like she has lost all her tennis IQ recently. (Remember who she hangs with...). I think she should ditch doubles and go home and put in some hard work.

Kiki lost 5-7, 6-7

It was cool (for me) that she was on court 13 though. I hit on that court when I was in Melbourne several years ago.

Kiki isn't in great form either. I've seen Lepchenko play before and she can play really well but at the moments she's also not playing that well. Who knows what happens tonight. Like Elwin says probably 50/50 chance.

Elwin. 50/50 i would say. Good luck Kiki

01:00 tonight European time. I will try watching it.

At least she has the first match of the day on that court. Thank heavens she doesn't have to play tuesday, that temperature stands out like a sore thumb coming week.

Welp. I was just about to say that luckily it has been coolish in Melbourne, but look at Tuesday!

ETA: OOP is out, she plays first on 13 tomorrow (Monday). That's definitely better than Tuesday afternoon.

Kiki is OK in a slow/sluggish kinda start-to-the-year way, but she's not quite like the kween who slayed last year in Knürnberg/KParis.

I hope she'll get past the other Soviet-born meldonium-user and make the third round, at the very least. Fingers crossed.

Kiki should really win this, Lepchenko's form looks far from good, imo

But who even knows with Kiki, she is such a headcase and the Australian heat isn't really her thing, either

But yeah let's be positive - she's got this

Re: Kiki Bertens

Haven't seen any of Kiki's matches this year. Losing to Mertens didn't bode well, until she won the title. I figured she probably played at a very decent level then and that's why Kiki lost.

Lepchenko. Could be a worse draw for sure but it's still a tricky lefthander with defensive skills. Could go either way. A third round has to be attainable.

Go Kiki!

Did you watch her before the Oz Open? I don't know what kind of form she's in.
