Re: Heather's Cheering Thread

I thought she'd lose, given Hogenkamp's form, but 0-6, 3-6 is worse than I imagined.

On to grass.

The next one will be difficult. Hogenkamp is on a hot streak.

She just needs to somehow put it all together. If her forehand became reliable and she utilises her great serve, backhand and net skills, she could be consistent top 30 player.

Re: Heather's Cheering Thread

An unconvincing win helped by an injury to her opponent. She will have to play a lot better to beat Smitkova.

They are a bit erratic, particularly at the net, but seem to be having fun. I like that they stayed at the end until all ballkids had got autographs and photos. Good ambassadors.

That's good. Heather and Naomi are a good team. They should play as much during the grass season as possible and at Wimbledon, where they have third round points to defend.

Re: Heather's Cheering Thread

Heather lost to a stronger player. There was nothing commendable about the performance.

They've reached the doubles final.

Good start for Heather 6-1 6-3. Served well and made few errors. Tomova didn't offer much.

Re: Heather's Cheering Thread

I think her shit is all over the place, unfortunately.

She is playing in $100,000 Trnava this week. Wickmayer is top seed

Her quarter:

(3)Ekaterina Alexandrova (RUS) v (wc)Anna Karolina Schmiedlova (SVK)
Ons Jabeur (TUN) v Q
Asia Muhammad (USA) v (wc)Viktoria Kuzmova (SVK)
(7)Heather Watson (GBR) v Viktoriya Tomova (BUL)

Naomi is there too, and they are teaming up for dubs, seeded fourth, and play home team Honcova/Juhaszova in R1.

Ugh, losing to Lim is poor. Hev needs to get her shit together for the grass.

Dawson. Losing to the supermodel

Last o checked she was 5 out of RG main draw (4 if we take out Kvitova). I'm kinda hoping she doesn't make it to be honest. She has a much better chance at winning a match or 2 in quailes compared to her chances in the main draw.
