Re: Australian Money Tournament Circuit

Just checked Inglis' recent activity and found that she has been playing some events.
Last month she swept a Perth Silver AMT, losing only 7 games from 5 matches

It looks like during the course of the tournament she also played a table tennis tournament under the name 'Maddz Inglis' in which she didn't do so well losing two 0-4 matches

This was the only recent activity though. I have a feeling she's committed to a University in Perth and is quite reluctant to go overseas, or she just gets homesick a lot.

Re: Australian Money Tournament Circuit

2016 Bathurst May AMT

Monique Adamczak:
R1 bye
R2 def. Tylah Newton 6-0 6-0
R3 def. Sasha Nelson 6-0 6-0
R4 def. Chiara Di Tommaso 6-0 6-0
QF lost. Leah Williamson w/o

Was shaping up to be a good week swinging the racquet around for Mon, but always a concern when she withdraws. Hopefully she's ok and will continue to play.

Its not a proper match and does not teach you fitness either. Im worried about whats going to happen with dubs too, as personally my dubs results are better. TA you suck continually!
Fast4 is the scourge of the game. It should NEVER be used in tournament play at any level. This is dreadful news.

And doubles - don't get me started. That "championship tiebreak" is a bl**dy travesty too.

Wow Monique playing again. I twitter-ed her after her injury last year if she'd ever plan another comeback and she didn't reply. Hope she makes an ITF comeback!!

Which is fine, but it relegates those of us at the lower end of the scale back to just being club players.

But I'm more worried about small towns and clubs who can only manage white level events. Will regional and small clubs lose their only semi-pro tournament? Have they made this change based what monopolising clubs like Booroondara have been doing? It would be sad if these changes affect small and regional clubs the worst.
I suppose it for the best of the game, especially if it helps prizemoney on the top-level but it does suck that they aren't catering to the lower-end. What are they doing to stop awful Directors/Tournies like the one that ripped off Zuzana that everyone says has a bad rep?

Vukicevic is not a pro player, she's a mediocre 15 year old junior... big difference

I'm shocked to hear that Tennis Australia can advertise an event as Platinum and then downgrade it to Silver. You should write a letter to them threatening to take them to the Small Claims Tribunal if they don't reimburse for your flight and accommodation costs!
I heard about this so many times. Everyone having problem to get a refund from there...im driving there so no help. I dont think Tennis Australia would be affraid of me , they would take it as another complain ....but it is frustrating... I will have to play there for sure now...and try to win
