Congrats Venus. Keep up the good work.

Was only able to see the first two games before I left for work!

Good luck in the next round.

She played pretty well. It was nice to see her go for a lot of inside-out forehands I love the dress on her too-it suits her figure nicely. Not sure why she's getting hate on here for wearing a tight and flashy dress

Venus looked quite good in the parts of the match I saw. I didnt expect her to have much trouble in this one but she looked even a bit better than expected perhaps. She certainly looked better than Sharpova did in her 1st round and the two are scheduled to meet in the round of 16.

I am a little suspect about her fitness level and match readiness.

I think her decreased fitness level has more to do with her respiratory problems than her knee. I thought she moved just fine.

Still a wee bit rusty but thats too be expected. Still with all that said, I know it's early but I am liking what I am seeing. And running around the backhand to hit the forehand. Ok Venus I ain't mad atcha...
Alert whom to what? All the ESPN commentators said was that they had never seen Venus use an inhaler on court before. They weren't accusing her of anything underhanded. Heck, Mary Joe Fernandez admitted she used to do the exact same thing when she played. Pam knew she wasn't going to get an answer from Venus when she asked her about it, but she still had to ask her about it.
