San Diego, that's cool! California for me if so!

Re: any info on the Fed Cup Final site?

Ugh, I don't like that choice, but whatever. Here are a more insightful list of options
Ten cities are expected to submit bids to host the rematch of last year’s Fed Cup final (won by Italy 4-1 in Reggio Calabria) by the Friday, June 4, deadline, including San Diego; Pacific Palisades, Calif.; Fort Worth, Texas; Jacksonville, Fla.; Portland, Ore.; Cleveland; Island of Hawaii; St. Louis; Surprise, Ariz.; and Dallas. San Antonio also had submitted a letter of intent but later withdrew its name from contention. The U.S. will be looking for its first Fed Cup title since 2000, and the Fed Cup final will be organized, staged and promoted by the USTA.

any info on the Fed Cup Final site?

i've heard that final bids were submitted, with the majority in texas, california, and i think even hawaii bid... but also read that the site would be chosen the week of june 14th... definitely can't find any info and was wondering if anyone had heard anything... i would consider flying to texas to see my beloved italians take on the americans as i have friends/family to visit so i want to know if i should get their hopes up!
