Re: Juniors

Léa Romain is in the QF of 25k Montpellier after Razzano retired after losing the first set 6/1. That's 9 WTA points, I believe!!

Re: Juniors

And right now there is also the French Championships U14, Maelys Bougrat will play against Namie François for the title ! Namie won a tough match in the semis against Aubane Droguet (36 75 64), when Bougrat won easily against Janicijevic (6/1 6/4).

The 2 finalists of last year U13, Morlet and Djoubri, lost in 1/4 to Janicijevic (6/2 6/3) and François (7/6 6/0)

Allez Namie !!

Re: Juniors

yes salma is already very "mature" for her age, she has big ambitions with her dad, I wish her to realise them one day

Loudmilla Beicheikh is playing Allianz Kundler this week, a G1 on outdoor clay

she beat israeli Krolitzky (born in 1999) 6-4 1-6 6-4 will play wc german strombach (born in 2002)

yasmine mansouri still to play her 1st round against german wc Schmidt (born in 1999)

it is over for sihem bellahouel, she won only 1 game against czech markova(9), sihem qualified brillantly there

Re: Juniors

Just thought I would post this here, but Salma Djoubri showed really impressive Sportsmanship here at 26:25 when she said her own serve was out (it clearly was) after the umpire gave her the game. Really impressive, especially considering her age

Re: Juniors

and Bozinovic can afford to travel to South America

I Think if Namie wants to be among the best juniors, she has to travel in Europe and also have a coach to go wih her

it all depends of what she wants and how big she wants to reach it.

If she considers tennis as a "hobbie", she wont do anything. There are so many girls who want to be the next "big champion" and just a few of them manages to do it.

Re: Juniors

Well when I see girls like Bozinovic who are 120 at the juniors ranking, Namie can do it too ...!
