What is Romain tennis camp?
Romain hervé and florent are famous french tennis coach. They have founded the "Romain Tennis Team" academy in Languedoc Roussillon, France. They have spent 15 years at the ITF and Tennis Europe circuit forming and coaching young french tennis players such as Carole Monnet, Léa Romain, Baptiste Anselmo, Atmane Terence, Julia Vulpio... and work informally with several top players foreign federations.

Congratulations to Carole Monnet who reaches today the last round of qualifications at the $10,000 Tournament La Bisbal, Spain.

Re: Juniors

and Bozinovic can afford to travel to South America

I Think if Namie wants to be among the best juniors, she has to travel in Europe and also have a coach to go wih her

it all depends of what she wants and how big she wants to reach it.

If she considers tennis as a "hobbie", she wont do anything. There are so many girls who want to be the next "big champion" and just a few of them manages to do it.

Re: Juniors

Well when I see girls like Bozinovic who are 120 at the juniors ranking, Namie can do it too ...!

Re: Juniors

Not really, when she plays at our club in Cagnes she always plays with the same tennis teacher, but I don't know if there is someone who follows her when she's playing tournaments. In Cap d'Ail Morgane Pons was here watching her match, but Morgane is working with a lot of young girls from Nice so I don't think we can call her her coach ... But I know the FFT is really starting to following Namie's results, so maybe that's gonna change.

Totally agree, and I saw almost all of these girls playing (Morlet, Djoubri, Bencheikh, Halemai etc), and she can be one of these girls who are the best of their age in France and who are making good matches on the Itf Juniors or in Tennis Europe

I just watched Namie François match at les Petits As against the winner Kostyuk, I just Loooove her forehand! so fluide, she can do everything she wants with it, hit flat, put some spin. Kostyuk was so pissed off in that 1st set, I think the difference between the 2 was the consistency. Namie serve and backhand need some real work but Namie is really talented, I liked her attitude in that 1st set battle.

I think she should play more european tournaments to get used to those girls and level. Kostyuk didnt impress me, she's just more consistent. I hope Namie to keep developing her game, she's training in Nice.
Well Namie is still at normal school (she doesn't want to be at the CNED), so it's hard for her to play european tournaments ... But I'm agree with you, she's so talented (we are at the same club), and she played great in Cap d'Ail, almost making it to a 3rd set against Orange who is 3 years older ..!
