Re: Ani Mijacika cheering thread

Ani at $10K Bol this week; got in as an SE

In R1 plays Watanabe (#762). She better win that

In R2 the winner plays the younger Pantuckova (#707) or ... Njiric [5]

Re: Ani Mijacika cheering thread

Congrats, Ani

And, unlike Savic, she looks serious about a comeback: she's entered in all three $10K Bol events happening over the next three weeks

Re: Ani Mijacika cheering thread

Almost fainted upon seeing her name in the doubles draw for Bol 10k this week, it's her first appearance in over two years.

Don't know the reasons behind it, but it's nice to see her back anywhere. Hopefully it's the start of some comeback - Bol will be hosting three more 10k's in the following weeks so why not. She is now 27 years old, and her respective best ever rankings are 193 for singles and 222 for doubles. No reason not to give it a shot for a few more years if health allows. She is, of course, currently not on any ranking lists.

(4)Cucca/Dentoni vs. Jung/Mijacika

Best of luck Ani

Well Pandzic had that horrible car accident, and then she had all kinds of injury issues.
