Re: Ana Vrljic cheering thread

Playing a 15k in Egypt this week, she is seeded #3 in both, singles and doubles (w/Ozgen), and is safely through the first hurdle in either draw.

It's not like she had a big choice when picking a tournament There are only 15k in Europe this week I believe

And JR is not an indicator. I remember how they were shit talking Domachowska for losing to Parmentier in the 1st round of Roland Garros. Of course Parmentier does not have CHR higher than Marta, but she has something Marta never won. WTA title. In fact titles.

Of course those loses are not nice, but Ana still can be a decent doubles player and as long as she feels she wants to play, she can. Just hopefully she won't end up like Daniilidou who is the one who should really retire.

Re: Ana Vrljic cheering thread

Doesn't look like Ana plans to retire anytime soon: she's in the acceptance list of every ITF event during the weeks of Jan. 2 and Jan. 9

Nice!
In R1 she plays, Gorgodze. The winner will likely play the top seed, Sabalenka.

Re: Ana Vrljic cheering thread

And she lost a tight two-setter to the Swiss girl with the Japanese name today, 6-7 4-6.

I know the whole devious plot, now. Sexy Lexington Stevenson didn't fly to England and Europe to bedazzle her millions of clamoring fans with a grand tour of $10K personal appearances ... she went there to suck the starch out of Ana's game like a merciless vampire!

Mission accomplished. Sexy goes home. Ana goes home. Everyone goes home.

Too bad she's now down to playing 10k's, she might not be the most talented player ever, but I respect her for playing Fed cup many (I think 5) times and fighting with what she was given to make a career one way or the other.

This is a good win. Or at least an enjoyable one
She is very nice girl, with a funny sense of humor and nice car
