Re: Eleni Daniilidou #272 in the World

Well, Jaz would be good as a hitting partner, and maybe a doubles partner, but definetely NOT a coach or trainer.

Re: Eleni Daniilidou #272 in the World

someone is lost buts its not me!
eleni should take part in tournaments that she can win!and not just go to big tournaments and hope for an upset us u suggested!read my message more carefully!
and u know what?eleni needs a good hitting partner and not just jaz.she needs someone to push her and in order to get better!
did u see the match against rezai?if eleni had a better fitness level she would have won the match.at some point during the game after a long rally eleni was out of breath!everything counts if u want to be a good player.and eleni needs to work in a lot of things!remember how she was playing back in 03-05?she was very high in the rankings.she beat henin!but...she was trying and she had a good team.since she got involved with the "german team and style" she is going down!i only wish her the best that why sometimes i am "mean".but eleni doesnt listen to anyone!if she gets a better coach etc etc she will do much better than she is doing now with jaz next to her!(as a coach or whatever).
its sad to see her out of the top 50 players!

did she tell you that?because i dont think she did!
i can easily say to you that eleni entered hard tournaments because of the money you get paid!
for example a tier 1 or 2 tournamets gives you much more money that a tier 3 or 4!
so please dont say that eleni entered tournaments for the reason u mentioned!

eleni needs to be more carefull with the decisions.she needs to enter tournaments that she can win and not hope to cause an upset because up to now the only one whos upset is eleni and us the fans!do u get me?
she needs to raise her fitness level.she needs to serve better than she does and she needs to mix her serve and her game.
she needs to move better in the court.and the most important of all....she needs to get a good coach and fitness trainer as well as a hitting partner and not rely on Jasmine to be coached!
then she will become the true star that everyone thinks she is.because she has the talent.but talent alone cant get u far!she needs to work hard and not just hope for causing an upset!
have a nice day...
??? You've completely lost me

Eleni hasn't been playing 25k tournaments in order to keep a top 100 ranking and I give her a lot of credit for that. If she says in an interview that shes doing it for me, pfft its besides the points.

I personally doubt that a higher ranked hitting partner would help her all that much, she just needs to be more mentally focused - that's it really. Oh and getting a couple of nice draws would be good too. Regardless of what you may think, Aravane Rezai is very hard to beat on Centre Court in Auckland. If it wasn't for Elena D then I very much doubt anyone else could have beaten her, she was in better form than Caro was.

I agree. It seems she just has 1 or 2 good tournaments a year and that was it but now she doesn't even get that. Such a shame.

Re: Eleni Daniilidou #272 in the World

Eleni wanted to play Olympics, only b/c she feels it's the most important tourney since she's Greek. She also played a 100k+H in Greece, where she lost to Ivanova in R1 6-1 6-0. She needs more time.
