It seems like a good chance for me as well to say some about my time here. As quite a few of you know, I've had a bad time of it in the past, didn't have a lot of confidence at all and this probably sounds silly, but this board has helped me in that respect, I've got to know some fantastic people, who I'm very happy to call friends, of course one or two people have let me down in that regard, but others have stuck by me and helped me.
With the college course I started a few weeks ago, that was probably only as a result of friends that I've made on here, giving me the belief that I could go and do that.

So I suppose really, although I have all these posts and it is probably far too much, all these posts and being on this board has had a positive effect on me.

I'll have to give a special mention in this post to some posters, Liz , Marri, Mel, Fiona, Raquel, Knop, Saff, Linda, Julien, Lisa, Shirley, Cilla and also Susie (who is too LAZY to check the board now but I'm sure she's still around ) There are more I'd like to mention, but I'd better not ramble on forever

So 10,000 posts and a huge thanks to everyone for putting up with me

Martian Martin Llama McLama isn't actually a relation to Llama MacLlama, in fact they both hate each other and are real rivals
Feb 13th, 2003 04:03 PM
Barrie_Dude Sorry! I'd forgotten that Nick is the only one that is chasing sheep here!

Oh, and is Llama McLlama any relation to Llama MacLlama?
Feb 13th, 2003 04:00 PM
Martian Martin The chasing sheep part isn't true Llamas have always been a historical part of Scotland especially the Great Llama McLlama
Feb 13th, 2003 03:46 PM
Barrie_Dude Since when do they have Llamas in Scotland, anyway? I always thought of it as a country full of men in skirts playing bagpipes and chasing sheep!
Feb 13th, 2003 03:43 PM
Martian Martin Ok make it more than one or two exceptions then!
Feb 13th, 2003 03:32 PM
Barrie_Dude Yes, me for one!
Feb 13th, 2003 03:30 PM
Martian Martin I think there might be one or two exceptions to that
