Re: The Discovery Thread

Thanks for posting. All the best for his two daughters.

Another parent for TA to deal with, who I'm sure (like many others) won't want to streamline his daughters development into their generic training programs.

Re: The Discovery Thread

Really rough RG draw for Jaimee Drew top seed Pervushian

Jeanette got a qualifier, but she's been in REALLY dire form the past couple of months so I don't expect anything from her.

Re: The Discovery Thread

Seone is into the final of the Astrid Bowl, a G1 event in Belgium Beat some pretty nice names along the way. Will play Anshba in the final.

Too bad I was wrong before and she won't get an SE because she's not in QD so she won't be at Roland Garros (for singles anyway)

In RG, Aiava lost in QFR

Re: The Discovery Thread

Thanks Kev, so at least 3 girls to track. Hopefully they play doubles too. Not sure what Lin is like on clay but Aiava/Fourlis may have a decent run. Shame Mendez isn't playing, think it's her fav court.

Fourlis, Lin and Aiava. Mendez is a fair way out in alts because after breaking back into the top 100 she dropped massively again a few weeks later She will need to reach fairly deep (maybe a SF) in this weeks G1 in Belgium to get an SE into RG.

The list is here

Haet withdrew and Apisah never entered.

Aiava is only in QD because she is using her pro ranking. Otherwise she'd be in the same position as Mendez.

Re: The Discovery Thread

I read somewhere that Aiava is playing and is now coached by her mother. Wonder what happened with Andrea Stoltenberg?

Good to have Mendez back playing!

When's Junior Fed Cup stuff happening, didn't she play that last year with Fourlis and Aiava?

Re: The Discovery Thread

Seone playing a junior event for the 1st time in a long time, her ranking has sunk a lot and she reaches a G1 final in Spain!

Very impressive wins on the way too, including (1)Masarova, (9)Bjorklund and (10)Danilovic
