9/10

Great French thriller.

The American movie The Tourist tells the same story but it totally pales in comparision.

I know this isn't a movie but I am totally enthralled with the series "Les Revenants". I wish it didn't end with the second season, and I wished I had recorded the first season so I could watch it again.

Ace Attorney (2012, in Japanese) - 7/10.

As a fan of the DS game, 'Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney', almost everything about the movie is rehashed and predictable, but enjoyable I thought this movie adaptation was done very well especially from a video game, even though they hardly changed at all.

Werner Herzog's cult classic got surprisingly high reviews and it was a delight. The ending was one of the funniest I have ever seen. The late Bruno S was extraordinary.

Just watched La Reine Margot and I loved it, I don't think there's another historic film quite like it in all honesty, it was very bleak in its portrayal of violence, but that was probably a true reflection of the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre. I'm fascinated with the Valois monarchy anyway, especially Marguerite/Margot De Valois so to see Isabelle Adjani, was so fantastic. She was also 40 playing a 19 year old as well and you can't even notice
The entire cast was amazing to be honest, especially Virna Lisi as Catherine De Medici, another fascinating figure
9/10
