Experimentee Its a good idea for the lower ranked Chinese players to play challengers instead of Tier I's. I've been saying that for years, but its only now that they started. They all played in Tier I's just for doubles, and poor Yan Zi couldnt even make the qualifying singles draw most of the time, then her ranking slipped.

Ting and Tiantian are playing in Bronx 50K, which is in my opinion a very good idea, because they can pick up some precious singles pts (whereas in Toronto, it would be harder to do so)

Francis Jie won, 6:1, 1:6, 6:2. I don't know what happened in that second set? But she won, and it's a good result!

Francis Toronto qualies: [8] Jie Zheng vs. Neha Uberoi.
This won't be a victory with ease, but I reckon Jie can win this!
