Yeah she's getting a hard time in GM, but winning an Olympic medal is a great achievment for any athlete. They only put one game on the BBC highlights so I didn't get to see much and couldn't really see how she was playing
Anyway well done Amelie and good luck at the US Open

You got that right

Haven't (and won't) be going to GM for the immediate future

Linnie I agree - she was strung tighter than her racquet today. She did well to reach the final, but once again her nerves got the better of her. IMHO, she has some serious work to do.

Now go and do one better at the Open. I'll be there rooting my ass off for you!

ALLEZ Momo.. Come back in US Open as a stronger player. It's a reality check time for Momo to think about the nervous breakdown in BIG final. It has got to go if she wants to win Grand Slam. And yes I'd be lying if I'm not upset about this

Shenanigans Today was Justine's day but congrats momo on your medal, a medal of any colour at the olympics is fantastic.
