Do not pretend like you know me Why should I be nice to somebody who gets way over the top regarding certain matters and is getting personally offended by some criticism regarding mediocre tennis player?
At least I have some personality unlike you.
And why on Earth you derive some thing that happen 3 or 4 years ago? And is connected with totally another thing - tennis elbow? First of all, if you want something to talk about that, I tried to help to make new courts for that game as had more fun learning photoshop than playing game. That certain person(s) out of nowhere understood I'm "bossy" on thing I wanted to try to make by myself. I was searching so much and asked directly that person(s) what they found offendive and offered my apologizes if I said anything that offended anybody but that one person just ignored me and I see, have to remember it few years after and speak with others on that theme but can't answer on my question and sort out that problem directly with me. And my intention never was to be bossy or anything and I said to those persons that I'm sorry if I did anything "wrong" or they understand so. But they obviously can talk behind and can't say it directly to me even I asked them. Well done.
You draw that thing on me of few years which have involved 1 or 2 persons (and speaking on TE I have amazing collaboration with many other people on courts and friendly communication and environment, like my Aussie honey Pete who made WTA patch in example). But lately doesn't care on TE at all. However, when you already want to bring negative out of me, I will not speak how your comments negatively surprise several posters and what they think on you with disrespectful comments and nicknames towards many players.

I do not pretend like I know you and do not know that but have to reply on your, yet again, unfounded claims toward me. I never said I know you but your language, phrases and intention when you use them (surprisingly modeling some aberrations) speak for itself. And no, I do not intend never to talk like I know the best or be "over the top" unless I'm introduced into some matter very well. If I do not know well about something, I will not pretend I know to speak on that or so. On tennis tournaments in Bol I know very big part of story and wanted to direct story to explain that some things are not as they are. It is not that simple like "better 10 ITF than 1 WTA". It doesn't work or funcionate like that. And all I said about that is true and time will show if I was right or not. Or if you once get opportunity to work or participate in organisation of tennis tournaments in Bol or know very well persons that work there. And yet again, I never offended personally by criticism some "mediocre" players. Do not know if you think here on Jana or Tena. About Jana I explained everything and on Tena I just wanted to point out that she doesn't have that rich family (not poor but not rich as well) as if I do know something about someone, why I wouldn't stop dissemination of disinformation? And it is you who make those malicious comments and replies and are derive wrong and negative things from my quotes which I've never said or intended to think or say with such quotes.
And you do not have to like me or be nice to me, but you can be respectful to person you are speaking to. Despite all your way you are treating me, I try to argumentatively and kindly speak to you without choosing bad and offending words.
Also, you do not know me so you can't conclude if I have or not (or what kind of) personality (I have). But despite not knowing me at all, this doesn't stop you to yet again have unfounded judgments on some of my share views on this board. And if part of your "some personality" (that sometimes used to be funny to me) is judging people without knowing them, making unfounded statements on part of quotes and having malicious intentions toward people without valid arguments. I rather chose to not have it at all. But luckily, my friends know about me and my personality, which I do not have need to express you.
And now please, leave me alone for once.

Re: "Say what's on your mind" thread - rant, complain, celebrate or whatever

^ And yet again your malicious conclusions toward me! Well, this really speaks more on you then on me. I just wonder how you imagine and concluded that I think that there is no anything Brač or Bol could offer from this tournament?
Is it really worth of discussion that most Americans or any other tourists (btw, most tourist in Bol are from Germany and Austria, then Sweden, UK, Slovenia and not a lot of Americans in Bol at all) have heard for Bol or Brač because of Zlatni rat? It is remarkable attraction not only of Bol, but for whole Croatian tourism and really do not have need to explain this. Luckily this is Croatian sub-forum and people from Croatia who read this will very well understand me. And I'm very well introduced in whole tourist offer of Bol and very well know that they have to offer many more things that are not Zlatni rat or tennis tournaments but plenty of offer, like in example their cultural association that is very active in organization of events. But I doubt you hear for it. And many other things in Bol. Thing that shows that you have malicous intentions toward me is that I very pointed out that PR effect is much wider for 1 125K WTA then for 20 10K ITFs and that it would be same if WTA tournament is in any other place in Croatia as Bol doesn't get that much of it but that it is better to have 10 weeks of ITF tournaments in pre/post tourist season. If I really think (had intention) to show that Brač / Bol doesn't have anything to offer I guess I wouldn't saying it would be same if tournament (WTA) is in other location in Croatia.
But when (if some time you decide for that) you arrive in Bol you can see and ask what people in Bol think of this first WTA tournament (1996-2003) and how it reflected on Bol for international tourism? And how it helped in promotion of Zlatni rat etc...Now, it is other perspective and other things politicians in Bol want from tournament.
Also, if you ever arrive in Bol or any other Croatian island, I would recommend to visit it in October or November maybe or March or April? December-February will not mention...
Hotels do not work, basically nothing is working...half of shops in place center is closed, you even can't buy medicine if you need it after 3...Not only that you maliciously conclude for me again, but really didn't try to understand even 1% of what I'm speaking. There is big problem for people on Croatian islands, there is no life when no tourist season. Project like 10 weeks of combined tennis tournaments scattered in time of pre and post season when number of tourists significantly drop or there is almost no tourists for such small place on island for that place than that means much. Island or Bol doesn't depend on this tournament and will survive without it. But there are many reasons and advantages (IMO) why ITF project is beneficial in post/pre season when place is still more dead than live. It is something in economy that is called "multiplier effect" but do not have need to explain it for you now. Anyhow, I guess you have never visited any of Croatian islands or places on it and especially in autumn/winter time so you can't be aware of problems that those people have and what are concrete projects that can help to them.
If you are not that myopic with need to be malicious towards me, you will realize I rather like to base my opinions on facts. Wish you blessed and nice day.

^Talking like Brać or Bol have nothing to offer apart of this tournament
I guess more Americans have heard bout Zlatni Rat than bout WTA 125 in Bol

Those young players have no-where to start their careers, to build up their rankings, but of course who cares about the youngsters in Croatia
If not Umag in ATP, Croatia would be like a desert on tennis map.

Re: "Say what's on your mind" thread - rant, complain, celebrate or whatever

Ten 15K wouldn't (actually didn't) get single sponsor/support as one WTA125K would (actually did). Director wanted to continue with them but unfortunately no support from anybody. We will see if there is chance for return next year. Personally, I think this is amazing project for island and small place like Bol and generally, probably 10 weeks of futures have bigger impact on this small local community than 1 WTA. WTA event has much wider marketing and PR effect and this can't be comparable with all futures held in Bol so far, but since 300-400 people live every week in this small place (that has around 1600 inhabitants through whole year) in pre and post season, I think it is more beneficial for this place. WTA has good effect for this place through PR but it doesn't need to improve its tourist visibility much anyway. Maybe some other location for WTA in Croatia would be better but Bol is perfect because of its infrastructure. Anyway, such shame for future... But since prize money increase of ITF it became impossible in cost-benefit part to organize those futures. I hope there can be some support for this project for next year(s).
