Vita might be borderline certifiable at times, but when she manages to hold her emotions in check has a big game that can do some damage against anybody. I will go with the theory she had a good day but Pati managed to win anyway

It was not streamed.
I was kinda following the livescore while watching Ana's match and there seemed to be a lot of twists, both players winning multiple games in a row. Happy that Pati won in the end

Re: Patricia Maria Tig

To me, this loss was about as unexpected as the win over Flipkens... But okay, a great week indeed.

Good luck in Tashkent!

Re: Patricia Maria Tig

Didn't have much left after the win against Sorribes Tried her best to keep the points short but that meant she was going to also miss a lot and in the end just made things easy for Lara Arrua. Lost 61 62

Still a great week and so unexpected after the bad slump she was in. Finally something to add to the Madrid points

Re: Patricia Maria Tig

What a breakfest this was. Tough to follow on Live Score. Total BP conversion on both sides of the net was 18/33 with both girls being breaks-up at some point in each of all 3 sets I think.

I thought Patty totally lost the plot after losing the 2nd set and Sara being one point away from 3-0 in the decider. I'm impressed she managed to regroup and pull this off... even if she chocked a bit when serving for the match at 5-2 (broken with a DF).

All in all though, great performance. First SF of the year I believe.

Re: Patricia Maria Tig

Just following live-score is not a good indication of what's happening on court, but it does look like Patty needs to learn how to attack second serves.

I have the feeling that every time Sara had a 2nd serve, Patty lost that point still (including a couple of BP's). EDIT: I just posted this and she managed to win a point on Sara's 2nd serve.
