Aside from the House of Reps, the Senate is going to be crazier than ever. As a friend tweeted "How do you like your feral senate now, Malcolm?" lol...

I did a whole lot of volunteering at booths yesterday and coordinating local volunteers for the party I belong to... any guesses which one that might be?
In Queensland or NT? The first one could be any, although not sure you strike me as a ONP fan

Co-ordinating sounds like a big party, so I'll say Greens.

I already said that the Liberal Party have been an embarrassment. But I refuse to vote for Labor because I dislike Shorten, I find the union presence chilling especially as Australian does not really need unions anymore, at least not on their current form and they have been hotness for corruption, and frankly their macroeconomic strategies are either poor or will not be well implemented based on past experience. So really, it's more about voting for the least bad option for me, which was the Greens.

I am more surprised about how right wing the senate is, particularly that racist thing Pauline.

It'll be a hung parliament. Now it's if a party can form a minority and which one it'll be

Well they didn't get majority And Turnbull looked like an absolute moron by not doing a speech so that's success all round.

Australia is starting to face that problem as Government debt continues to increase. Labor openly said they would make the budget deficit even larger, and in my opinion the deficit is too large at this stage for it to be made larger and risk losing our credit rating. Although the current account does need to be addressed with macroeconomic restructuring, the net primary income deficit is the DOMINANT issue in the deficit, and that is mainly constituted with interest repayments flowing outwards. It also harms confidence and can crowd out domestic investment, although that's not so much of a problem when Australian interest rates are well above the world level.
