Well, it's true that JoLa could have defeated the Ukraine single-handed.*

But it's pretty inexcusable that their "team" would consist of one person.

*not just the Fed Cup team, but literally the entire Ukraine, even back when they had a nuclear arsenal.

As expected, they're all blaming Jo-La for the Swedish team being relegated to ZG II.

^Thank you!

I'm just hoping she makes it. She has said herself it's probably her last chance.

2. Jo-La was ranked #59 (1006 pts) on Jan 2 2012, and #56 (981 pts)* at the beginning of this year, but don't let that fool you! We are only 33 weeks into the Race to Rio, and Jo-La has already earned more points than she did in the 2011-2012 qualification period.

*New system, fewer points than before.

**2011-2012 PTS corrected for the change in the ranking system.

3. She was injured at the end of 2011 and didn't play for 3 months. Now she's not injured. The thigh thing is just a niggle.

4. Her backhand has vastly improved. Before:

After: Jo-La has been spottet hitting her backhand with her eyes open several times lately.

5. In 2011 there were no Russian submarines lurking in the Stockholm Skärgård. Now there is. This will motivate Jo-La to slay as many of Putin's bishes as she possibly can.

6. She will not let Sofia down.

7. (Norrland does not observe this number).

8. In 2011 she was Runner-Up in Båstad. In 2015 she won it. As shown below there is an indisputable connection between winning Båstad and greatness at the YEC, the Slams and the Olympics:

9. (Norrland does not observe this number either).

10. As predicted by MiffedMax. You can't argue with math.

Well, it's just a linear projection so the best fit is Top 80-20. When you approach the very top you have to take into account that Serena Williams is basically hawking all the points, so the point distribution is nearly exponential there. Plus with a R2 value of ~0.926, as a rule of thumb one should not look any more than 20 weeks into the future!

JoLa is Sweden. Sweden is JoLa.

Yet JoLa transcends Sweden and her infinite awesomeness forces people from as far away as Texas to acknowledge her powers.

This is the true genius and might of JoLa.

Even the age-old rivalry between Norway and Sweden is battered into submission by JoLa's thundering backhands and JoLawesomeness.

Norway is in Group III. It's well-deserved.

And Sweden has no business being in GI either, when the team (sans Jo-La) can only win 1 of 8 matches against three different nations.

Oh yeah. JoLa will cruise to like 2000 points easy. She's going to crack the top 20.

Not that rankings matter when you are as awesome as JoLa.
