Re: Vera Lapko

Vera is through to the dubs semis with Russian Polina Monova, after they've beaten 2 pairs of WCs: Cakarevic/De Bernardi 7-6(2) 6-2 in R1, and Korpatsch/Ponchet 6-4 7-5 in QF today

She's found herself a good dubs partner for this week

Vera Looks like you were right about the match-up and I was wrong about the losing streak playing a role

Re: Vera Lapko

She lost 4 & 2

2nd set started exactly like the first one, except Vera struggled even more with her serve in that set

Katya held to 15, 4-6 it is

Hope she can hold serve from the first game on in this new set!

Re: Vera Lapko

*2-4 vs. Katya... 5 consecutive breaks of serve but then Katya did hold serve in the 6th game

Re: Vera Lapko

Yeah, but I feel like Katya's retrieving gamestyle could bother her a lot...

It's worth mentioning that Kozlova is on an eight-match losing streak

I like Vera's chances

Another routine 3 & 3 win over Diana (in 72 mins) and she gets in the MD!
