Yes indeed, she underplay the tournaments, but maybe she feels most comfortable that way as we know she is not exactly a stamina beast. She must defend a chunk of points in Dubai and Miami, let's hope she'll do well.

Interesting how she will play during grass and clay.

Anyway, can you post as well the part on why Dimitrov is not playing Sofia? intriguing
Yes, I also hope she can find the good form again.
I don't know why Dimi doesn't play Sofia Open. The article doesn't mention it.
Tsveti just said she supported Dimi. They are professional players now and have their own decisions.

Interview before Fed Cup:
(Via: sportal.bg ;Translated by Google Translation)
"If we must be realistic, our chances are not very large. As every year, teams against which we play, are quite serious. Of course, we will give our best, we are capable of and I think staying in the group will It is a good result, but fighting for something more, of course, "said the airport" Sofia "Pironkova. "In our group the hardest team is Belgium. All their players who saw perform very well. The beginning of the season they were also good, they are the strongest team in our group. Whether our team spirit is high Yes, it is. We already many years playing together in this composition. We know each other very well and get along very well in the team, "added the 28-year-old from Plovdiv.

Then talked something about Dimi not to play Sofia Open. Here I don't post it.

"What caused the drop in my ranking of the WTA? (Pironkova is №93 in the latest edition of the rankings). On several factors. One of them, I would say is bad luck at the end of last season. In the last 5-6 tournament in which I participated, was eliminated in the first round. It was a little frustrating because almost every game if they match point, it had at least setbol. Every match was in three sets, very close matches played then. That might wounds my self-esteem to some extent. At the beginning of this season you had a lot points to defend. I could not protect them and therefore get that. But in tennis is so, each year you have to defend points, and there are prerequisites for such changes in the rankings. I do not happens for the first time, so this is not something that bothers me so hard, but I really want to do nakolko stronger tournaments give me feel better, "said Pironkova.

"After the Fed Cup will participate in Dubai, where the start of qualifying this year. Then it will play in Doha, where I think I can get into the main draw and then coming tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami. No chasing some ranking rankings this season, rather I want to go further in the tournament - second, third round, quarter-final, half-finale ... On such achievements hope for this work, but whatever saber show we'll see, "said Pironkova.

I don't know Yaro's state is good or not.
In Sydney QR1 she lost Sesil Karatantcheva 1-4 Ret.
But she did a good job in doubles. So good luck to Tsveti.
Last year she defeated Heather Watson in R1. So she must defend 70 points here.
