Re: What do you say at the net after an easy win?

Not much, tbh. I always say the usual stuff, you know, like: "This is my home", "Sorry about that", "You did the best you could today" and when my opponent is injured I tell him "So unfortunate you were extremely injured today". Just kidding, I don't even play tournaments. I'm such a flop.

Spencer. I just always say the same thing for a W or a L. "Thanks, good match." I'll add in a "congrats" if I lose though.

Good Match normally

If I lose I normally wish them luck for the tournament, unless they're a bitch.

"You are a terrible player, only serve. I win all the rallies!"

Seriously, I usually say "thanks" if the opponent played terribly and lost badly, otherwise "well played" and "good luck" if he beat me.

Re: What do you say at the net after an easy win?

when I was being outplayed two nights ago I thought: "when we shake hands I ask him how much was it for the hour lesson"

then I started playing better and put up a fight (and got slightly injured) so it wasn't appropriate and he asked about my leg

Spencer. Thank you, good match.

Sometimes it's met with "yeh not really from me LOL" which I usually ignore because sometimes I outplay them and it isn't just because they had a bad day But sometimes they just don't have it that day. Happens to all of us.

Good game, quick handshake (though last week I was sick and we air high fived with our racquets) and a little eye contact, no matter the score.

Sometimes if it's a tournament I talk with my opponent after the match briefly when we're packing and getting our bags, unless their a quiet type.
