She just posted this...rehab in full motion! It's a good sign she starts posting these updates now.

Feel wary about making assumptions either way, but as a possibility it seems quite plausible, yeah.

Re: Sabine Lisicki Cheering Thread

Yeah. She played her last match on November 25.
May 25 is Thursday during RG-Qualifying which starts on Tuesday. If she's healthy by then she might make the decision to skip the clay season in order to get a protected ranking. There are four 100K ITFs in England on grass starting in the second week of RG until Wimbledon.

I guess she's going to wait for a PR and will come back around Wimbledon.

Re: Sabine Lisicki Cheering Thread

It's good to finally hear at least something from her regarding her injury after 2 months of silence..although she still didn't reveal that much... In rehab now...unknown when she'll be back on tour.. Can't shake off the eerie feeling that it may take awhile before she hits the tour again...esp. since it took her forever to break the silence.. Hope my feeling is completely wrong

Sabine is not on any MD/Q list of 1st week 2017..signed up for Auckland...MDO She needs 4 MD withdrawals...well good luck with that So big chance she won't be playing for any ranking point before AO.

Sabine will play the Kooyong Classic exho from January 10-13, i.e. the week before AO. Good decision...at least some guaranteed matches

Article can be found here.

Yes; the old cave in the rocks (so to speak) strategy is often a pretty good one.

Re: Sabine Lisicki Cheering Thread

I quite like the fact that Sabine has disappeared off the radar with social media

She clearly is not a thick skinned person - we see that on court with her mental and emotional weaknesses, so seeing people constantly slaughter you online must be tough to deal with

In the early days (pre Wimbledon 2013) she interacted with fans, and even had conversations on Twitter with some, but that changed when a few became over familiar - she has no obligation to tell the world what she's just eaten, or what training routine she has just finished, or what time and what court she plays tomorrow

I think Sabine has done the right thing - Fuck everyone, this is my life and I will do it my way

Pocher is an absolute dickhead, I'm glad Sabine finally got shot of him

However, some of his hashtags are correct - she needs a sporting psychologist, and her problems are her own fault not Kas

Do we really need this shit in this subforum? It's just garbage and we shouldn't waste our time reading some tweet from some insignificant idiot.
