I'm pretty disappointed. Moustache has good touch but she doesn't have any major weapons to hurt anyone with really. Even if she plays better indoors, Laura should play better than her indoors.

At least she's still in doubles I guess. It's currently 5-5 now in the first set.

It looks like Laura got tight or totally lost focus at points in this match.

Towards the end of the first set she suddenly goes AWOL and loses 10 points in a row.

Then serving at *5-5 second set she hits three DFs to give up a break. Manages to break back immediately but then checks out after winning the first point of the TB. The second point was a Mestach DF, then Mestach won seven points in a row with Laura double faulting on match point.

Stats say 1 ace for Laura; 12 double faults.

I fear it may have been your mistake, e.g. you replied to the thread rather than to my post. Anyhow, it made some sense. I understood it.

Lost 4-6 6-7(2)
11.Dfs.
Led.4-1 in the 2nd
Won the first 2pts in TB and Lost the Next 7

Expected Mestach is better indoors and likes revenge matches.

Moving on with another loss

Mr.Sparkle Mestache's serve is not particularly threatening (even though it takes her about a year to prepare for it) so Laura has a good opportunity to get a quick win as long as she keeps serving well herself. She just has to watch out for Mestache's dropshots and slices.

I dunno if it's just me but I got the impression in their last match that Mestache doesn't like Laura very much. But perhaps she was just annoyed at the match as everything was going Laura's way.

R1: Marcinkevica/Robson def. [2] Kalinskaya/Kuncikova 6-3 5-7 10-7

K&K were a double break down early in the 2nd set. Laura and Diana had three match points at 5-3* but were unable to convert. They then lost the next four games and the set.

Anna and Lenka got an early lead in the match tiebreak but then Laura and Diana won six points in a row to stamp their authority on it.
