Oh man that match against Kontaveit was something to behold! Amazing stuff. Kontaveit was way off her game but Lizette took total advantage and hung tough when it get close. Pity she couldn't get past Rodina. I'm just gonna assume it was a tank so she could get to Tashkent

It could be Fett though, she was struggling physically towards the end of Tokyo last week.

Career best win!

Anett wasn't that great throughout, especially the first but Liz was solid and then Anett started playing better, Liz kept up with her

Finished with a BHDTL.

I guess I was right when I said she should play WTA not ITF Well done today, she finished so strongly as well. The way she constructs her points is really beautiful, reminds me of Bencic how she creates space and then punches down the line. Interesting match next against Rodina, very different type of match for her. Hopefully she keeps going
