bobob67 Final: def. V. Ivakhnenko (3) W/O

There's not much to say I guess.
Really happy she got to win another title, that's for sure!!
However, it's a bit unfortunate her opponent couldn't play, and Dia couldn't have the chance to win a MP...
Still, she deserves it, and this is a good reward after yesterday's battle!!

She'll be back to the top 500 thanks to this result!!
Keep this way, Dia!

Next week, same place. Looking for another one!

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

I would say she's having an ambivalent season for the time being.

In dubs she's been playing amazingly with J. Tinjic, they've already won two 15Ks!!

Yet, in singles, it's a bit more complex. She's reached twice the QFs in 15Ks, and this week she's into the SF, but at the moment she's down a set against C. Ene.

Into the final!! First one this year. She defeated Ulrikke 4/6 6/3 6/1.

She'll face a young player in the final, Tayisiya Mordeger, from Germany.

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

Unfortunately she couldn't make it last week in SF...

This week she's back on track.

Again in SF !
Facing, once again, Eikeri

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

#584 this week

She has produced some good tennis in the past couple of months but she really is too irregular right now..
Still, she has already proved so many times she can uspet the odds.
This week she's doing pretty well! Today she won two 3-setters and is into the SF of a 10K in Antalya. She will face V. Lukas tomorrow.

It would be so great if she could win another title...

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

#403 this week.
Gotta defend last year's SF in Torun and then last year's final in Torino

25K Helsingborg :

RA def. (Q) B. Njuki (SWE) 6/1 6/4
R2 vs. (1) S. Celik (SWE)

Susanne is playing really well these days, it's not gonna be easy..

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

After a quite horrible journey in Florida, she's back in Hammamet

She's won a couple of matches, it's now getting better

She's still giving her best, practicing hard, I hope this will pay

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

Finally, she withdrew even though she was in the draw

She just posted a video of her, practicing hard in Florida. Some ITFs are coming in Florida, so hope she's gonna play up there

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

Next week, she'll play in IW for the pre-qualies. She's #5 in the draw and her first match will be on Mach 3rd.

R1 against an unranked player (that will already have played one match), gotta win this

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

Omg... she lost 0 & 2

What's going on with her tennis?

This is so heartbreaking...

I really hope she can find her way back, I don't want her to finish her career as Daniilidou or some others, being totally irrelevant...

(8)Dia Evtimova (BUL) v Maria Mateas (USA)
Anhzelika Isaeva (RUS) v Sabastiani Leon (MEX)

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

Dia should be back next week in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, for a 25K.

She'll have to get through the qualies

Re: Dia Evtimova Thread

She won her first match of the year against Hirstea unfortunately she could not beat Jessika Ponchet in QF that's a shame because she was up *5/4 30/0 in the décider

Next week she will play in the same place as top seed again, then she will play Fed Cup. Let's hope she can make better results
