Re: Ynet Interview

A very revealing interview from earlier this week:
http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-4348944,00.html

I'll just translate the headline for now:
"I was in denial. I didn't acknowledge my slide in time. I am dealing with the reality. I may drop down to #400, I may return to #20".

For the first time she also says she's not ruling out playing ITFs, and that she did contemplate retirement, but not thinking about it atm.

Re: Ynet Interview

And other one on Ynet, this time non-tennis: about her celebrity status, Gilad Shalit, politics, earning money and spending it, and even wedding (which is, of course, won't be happening in the foreseeable future).

I'll translate excerpts if the non Hebrew reading fans here want.

A very different one from the off-season that was printed in the daily "Israel Hayom" (Israel Today), about recovering from the 2008 slump, how was it in Dubai, the support from her family and more:

Contains some nice pictures of her as well.

Ynet Interview

Shahar talks about the recent protests in New Zealand and Australia, her career so far and bouncing back, talkbacks, money and ATP players.
