When Lindsay won the Australian Open 2000 the courts were faster than normal. From what I've heard the courts for next year will be fast so it not going to do Lindsay's chances any harm that's for sure.

The faster surface should suit her game but she's always done really well in Australia anyhow. I just hope the draw gods are nice to her.

Well apparently it's played on the same surface as the Atlanta Olympics, which Lindsay won Obviously it's faster so that suits Lindsay, but given her ranking, it's not as if she's at an advantage

Plexicushion?

The new surface for the Australian Open is Plexicushion? Will Lindsay like this surface because it sounds like a fast hard court? What are her chances for success?
