A Christmastime drama centered around the Whitfield family's first holiday together in four years.
As my friend pointed out to me there wasnt really much of a plotline to this film, apart from a family coming together for christmas and over coming it and becoming a family. It looked funny on the trailer but that was about it like a lot of films these days. But watchable 3/5
A drama with fairy tale elements, where an orphaned musical prodigy uses his gift as a clue to finding his birth parents.
I liked this film, the role that robin williams played wasnt his normal type, he wasnt the funny guy in this film but rather a sinister one. Freddie is great british talent. Though rather cheesey cause you know it will work out in the end. 4/5
In 1970s America, a detective works to bring down the drug empire of Frank Lucas, a heroin kingpin from Manhattan, who is smuggling the drug into the country from the Far East in the midst of the Vietnam War.
I enjoyed this film, even though in places it was a slow, it was good to see russel in new kind of role almost an action cop in places. Lucas had a great buisness empire and old school aproach to his work. 4/5
The warrior Beowulf must fight and defeat the monster Grendel who is terrorizing towns, and later, Grendel's mother, who begins killing out of revenge.
The only reason i went to see this film i cause there was nothing else on. The way the film is shot makes it look strange and distracts you from the film itself, which is properly best as not much happends in the film, its rather odd. 2/5
An exploration of the relationship between Elizabeth I and the adventurer Sir Walter Raleigh.
I found this film to be slow and not really eventful, though i dont know what i exspected it to be, the costumes and visuals are very good. Kate put in a good performace as well. If you like historical films youd prolly like this. 2/5
