It was quicker than expected, because I should try to go below 3.30min, but after 200m I was already 6 secounds below schedule. I could keep up the right pace and after 1000m the clock showed me 3 minutes 17 seconds and 7 tenth. With a nasty wind blowing on the last straight, I was scared to make a fast start, but it payed off and so I want to try go close to the 3 minutes...

The first grand tour, is more then a week on his way now. And I've got to say, I love the giro. Basso is wearing the leader jersey after his stage victory yesterday. Yesterday we had the first big day for the favorites. It was interesting to see that a group of 14 riders stayed together in the first 5 kilometers of the climb. After that it became clear that Basso is to strong for the moment. But never underestimate the others, a grand tour is three weeks long and you have to be good all three week....

Olympic champion Justin Gatlin broke the 100m record by 0,01sec and brought it to 9,76. A brilliant time and it will make tit an interesting season. We can expect a battle between Asafa Powell (the Jamaican former world record holder) and Gatlin.
My track season starts on thursday. I will compete in a 1000m. It's a horrible distance. For me...

Well as you all could have known I'm running again. I commenced with athletics again this january and especially long distance running for the moment. I will switch back to track running when the track season starts in may.

So last saturday I had a 10,3 km race (6,4 mile) on my schedule witch was part of a running event here. I wanted to start on a scheme that should lead me to a time of 46 minutes or something like that. I went rather well the first 3 or 4 km. The first one was...

Poker on the internet. It's an old phenomenon in the USA, but lately poker really explosed in Europe. I play Texas Hold'em poker on the internet for around one and a half year now. I can't say I was one of the first dutch online players, but I really am a early player. Cause the last year a lot of my friends start playing poker and there was also a lot of media attention about the booming buisiness poker is on the internet.
And at the moment you here conversations about poker everywhere....
