I found a great forum a few months ago, and found some nice people to chat to, but the webmaster suddenly acted OTT and I felt the best thing to do was to leave.. I had been spending a lot of time there, so it was so sad to go - but maybe I'll get more work done now..

2006 round-up

I haven't been here for a while, I now have a blog on another site..
Since June, I have had quite a bit of stress regarding money - buying my car cost more than I had wanted to spend, leaving very little reserves. what a month!
I went to my first tennis tournie - Birmingham - and although Dani withdrew, and it rained off most of the Tuesday, I was very happy to see the people who's names and photos I'd become familiar with from here. (and a few I hadn't noticed before) I became a fan of several, just by their friendly attitude..

Dani's new coach seem to have worked wonders, a doubles title in Rome, and now through to round 3 in both singles and doubles!

I tried to set up a new satellite dish the other day, but I've had a few problems.. firstly, I couldn't decide where best to put it, then I drilled a hole through the wall for the cable, and the drill went off-course and damaged one of the existing cables, so I lost Astra1 & Hotbird.
I can't get a signal, and I'm not sure if the dish is too small,...

It may still be Dani's favourite city, now she and Ai have won the doubles title. I wondered that if she had an early exit (like she did with singles), she might move on to continue training in Barcelona.
