I wasn't able to play yesterday because I was still hopped up on the drugs my doctor gave to exterminate the 50 million or so bacteria colonies popping all over my body. And, considering I get to play tennis only once a week in the first place, it makes me mad, both in the British and "I'm going to mash my face into wall" sense.

I need to play now.

I need training

Played about six sets of doubles yesterday. Strokes are awful but mostly due to lack of sleep. Face feels it's going to peel off at any minute. Have attained a new level of tennis elbow. Serve feels nice but only goes in every fifty or so tries. Gets too cute with volleys. Can't return from the deuce court. Partners think I'm a melodramatic drunk. Nature is against me. Ballpersons are against me. The net is against me. Post match pizzas are against me.

It was good, considering.
