Well, it's been a week and I haven't said about this much, but I had a date last Saturday and have another one with her tonight!

Strange Days Indeed

Well, things have got strange for me the last week or so since Iraq fell through. After getting myself all prepared for it, and not going, it leaves you feeling somewhat confused. It's been strange for me, because of thinking about, and things with uni. Uni is going OK, but it's just so strange that with the people in my class, I don't really know, because I only did two classes with them last semester, and now I'm going 3 this semester, but there's no real connection, like in the past. Well, Now I'm Not Going

Fuck me. Last Thursday I was meant to sign the contract to go and work in Iraq. I was talking to Carmen early Thursday morning when I got a call from someone who I would be working with, telling me that the building where the office is was bombed, and the company's operation in Iraq has ceased because of this. A bit later on in the day I found out that if I had signed the contract when I was meant to (there were a few delays in paperwork), I would legally be an employee, and get paid. But because...

Well tomorrow I will more then likely be signing the contract, there's a couple of people that I wanna talk to tonight, and who wanna talk to me, and I'm not 100% sure they want me to go. If either or both make a strong case, then I won't go, it's as simple as that. I'm aware of the risks, I've looked at images and know that it could be me in that.
