Off-season is practically over with the Hopman Cup qualifying being played now and with the regular sessions starting tomorrow. The teams are not as strong as last year especially with Marat withdrawing and being replaced with the unknown Gabashvili. Speaking of Marat I hope he gets well in time to play the Australian Open. A tournament's a lot more fun to follow when Marat's playing on it especially in a Grand Slam. His post-match interviews are always a great read.

I have a job! Shocking! Well, the job itself is not that hard, its mostly doing office work so hopefully I'll adjust well to the schedule which is day time--thank goodness for that--because I don't think I could stand working on a night shift again.

So what else...I watch the SEA Games but only the tennis event. I've seen Wynne Prakusya play mixed doubles and I'm impress, among Asian players she's certainly on a high level. Looking at her WTA Tour profile, she was actually...

Martina Hingis is back on the WTA Tour. My thoughts on this supposed comeback of hers, I'm happy that I'll be able to see her play again BUT I am kinda wary of how she'll cope with all the power players who has been dominating the game now. Before she retired, she was getting beaten routinely by most players who are now in the top echelons of the game. So I am not sure if this is the best move for her in terms of pride and ego, but as they say, its all for the love of the game...

I wish I've known about the band, The Weakerthans before. They're a good one and they've been around for quite some time. I've only learned about them a few months ago from this great site, Webjay - Playlist Community. In fact, I've discovered a lot of of other awesome bands from this site. Its just a shame I hadn't heard all of this earlier, say back during my college years. It could have saved me from listening to too much pop music. Hehe. Anyways, here are some of The Weakerthans' songs. (They...

I was too tired to blog last night.

I can't believe I slept for 9 hours again. This is so detrimental to my future success. Hehe. Yeah right I don't even have a job. Sometimes I do wonder if I have a sleeping disorder like narcolepsy or something. I just love sleeping. Before I wake up earlier I felt as though I could sleep for another 2 hours. I envy those people who's content with sleeping for 5 or 6 hours and still managed to be active for the entire day. I could never do that....
