I have a friend (crazy stuff I know) and I have a mum... That's how the story starts.

My mum is really nice to all my friends whether she likes them or not so if they have a problem and start talking to her about it etc then she will sit there and talk it through with them and give them advice so naturally all my friends think she is great, which honestly i don't mind.

But the other week, a drunken moment in one of my friends resulted in her crying on my mum's shoulder...

The speedskating season officially ended today
It did end well, with medals for my faves on all distances but I'm still sad I have to wait till (probably) the last weekend of october now.

Anyway, end of the season means awards! And I will do that my way

The dismal state of American tennis is on display week after week on the WTA Tour, but this week actually provided a reason for excitement for those patriotic American fans. As a side note, I have noticed that Americans, more so than any other country, do not feel any sort of obligation to root for the players from their country. Is the reason because we have always had so many players to choose from? Or because national athletic pride has never really been fostered here unless it is during the...
