Immune system has been pretty crappy lately. It's been a touch and go. One minute I'm fine, the next minute I'm getting fluey. Hopefully it's gone now after a good night sleep. I am finally done with the annoying little tests. Accounting is over and it felt great after finishing it! There should be a law against scheduling tests on a friday evening. They should not have prolonged our misery! But anyway, it's over now and the next would be the big end of semester exams. Can hardly wait. Now I have one individual and one group report to settle. Time to get into hardworking mode.
Liverpool was crap yesterday. I can't believe I rushed home to watch a 0-0 match with basically no real shots on goal. At least Steven Gerrard was playing and I have the company of some very good friends. Christine is now a big fan of Liverpool thanks to my influence. Now if only I can make her realise Crouch is not cute at all. Oh some other good news, Arsenal and Celtic lost! Not really my idea of a good news about Celtic but someone (an avid Rangers fan) is apparently very happy about this fact so it's worth a mention. The only good thing about it was when I was kidding about Celtic equalising in the dying minutes. You should have seen her reaction before I told her I was kidding. I should do it again. Ok that's it for the football news.
I was studying French vocabs with Christine yesterday and discovered I'm not that bad at it. She wants to test me again today to make sure I remember the stuff. No faith in me whatsoever! My favourite one would be les chagrins s’effacent. I just remember it as “less something grinning something efficient”. Well I needed something to remember all this French stuff~ Anyway girlie, good luck on your three tests especially Maths since it sounded so boring when you described it to me. Get straight As and I'll get you a present. I know you have always wanted a pair of pink socks.
Now a few more good lucks to be mentioned.
Good luck to Dennis for your Tuesday apprenticeship meeting thingy! Hope you and your friend will get it. Don't be too nervous! Good luck to Cori for your remaining exams! Study hard, don't be too stressed or keep playing your PS2. Everyone else too needing good luck for stuff, well good luck from me!
Special Edit: Nichola emailed me a poem she wrote when she was 10. It is so adorable. A little random but nice. Haha. I always knew she has a talent for those fancy English writing! I love surprises sometimes so thank you for the random sharing. I would show it here but things could get ugly.
*What's worse, new wounds which are so horribly painful or old wounds that should've healed years ago and never did? Maybe our old wounds teach us something. They remind us where we've been and what we've overcome. They teach us lessons about what to avoid in the future. That's what we like to think. But that's not the way it is, is it? Some things we just have to learn over and over and over again.*
