Next Stop: Scotland

Posted Feb 2nd, 2007 at 06:18 PM by shadowsecret
So I decided accounting is not so bad after all. Actually it's pretty fun. It's the rush you get when you managed to balance an account statement. How can anyone not want to count their own current liabilities and current assets by themselves?! It's such an exciting process. (Ok not much sarcasm here, accounting is really fun. Unlike statistics! )

So I took a cab to school today. *points fingers at Vivian* She made me late for school! We were too busy discussing Maria's match against Ai and her many double faults! Maria won and her next match is against Ana. I wish Jelena had won though. I love my vBetting queen! But she just broke the streak where she always wins me money.

Oh right, I got side track. I was going to say the cab ride was miserable. I was trying to listen to my ipod but the cab driver assumes I'm friendly and want to listen to his successful daughters' stories. It's impressive and all how his daughter single handedly secured a US$18 million deal for some Japanese dude she met on the street that he offered her a job on the spot. He even showed me her picture on his cell phone! Then he started talking about his daughters' looks. Honestly, did he expect me to find them boyfriends or something?

So Nichola is showing me some attractions about Scotland since she wants me to go there so much. I have to say though that now I have three main things I want to do if I ever go there. One is to take a picture with those cute men in kilts. Two is to take a picture with that statue with the cone on his head. How can an important person statue ends up with a road cone on his head?! Maybe it's abstract art. Three is maybe to catch the Celtic-Rangers match, can you just imagine how annoyed she'll be when I start cheering for Celtic? Seriously, if I wasn't planning on ever going, it makes me so excited now! Oh before I forget, I had a chat with her mum too. She so loves me more now I bet.

Shout Out to Chris:
Hope you're feeling better and it'll get sorted out soon. You can talk to me if there's anything.

Since this entry is dedicated to Nichola, I will use something she said today that I'm touched about. Thank You.

*It's hard to explain what makes you get a feeling for when someone is down, I think it's to do with the connection you've made with the person so you can detect any little changes.*

That brings back memories of my friends doing accounting at school! It never appealed to me but counting my money does! You can do it for me now you're an expert I can't believe yougo a taxi to school! Haven't you ever heard of buses or trains or dare i say, good old fashioned, hoofing it! (that's walking btw ) If you ever cheer on Celtic, I will disown you! End of discussion! I still worry about what you girls were talking about that night I can't believe you exposed my softness! That's supposed to be well under wraps!

Re: Next Stop: Scotland

you should have taken your daddy's car instead of a taxi! :p taxi's are so uncool haha. Maybe the driver just told you about his daughters because he thought you could fit to one of them :p
Oh and no one, at least here in germany that i know, likes the kilts haha. I think they are totally weird, because guys don't wear skirts! sorry nichola ;)

Vivian: You can too if you call for them. You so owe me the cab fare! and doctor's visit for emotional distress after listening to that driver.

Nichola: I can count your money for you now? Awesome! Then I can see if you've been overspending on online shopping. Walking is definitely impossible! Well buses makes me dizzy and I was late for the train. Ok I just like taking cabs. Disown?! Ooh, so serious. Better not mention Celtic again for a few months. They are top of the league table though right? We only talk good stuffs about you don't worry. Haha. You're such a softie anyway, everyone knows that. (delete it!)

Cori: Daddy used his car. How are taxis uncool?! Our taxis here are great! Eew. Girlie, you're evil. Nichola wants you to get your next boyfriend to wear a kilt or she's never talking to you again.

Accounting is fun (to a certain extent)! Though I think it's a crap job cos I don't want to be responsible for any loss in the accounting department

Maria played crap again and somehow I don't mind that she retired... *cough*

Have a great weekend

Mercedes: vSis So it runs in the family?! That's awesome. However, I don't want to be an accountant, I don't want to be surrounded by numbers everyday! Hope you're having fun still at the new workplace.

Dennis: I agree! No way I want to be an accountant. Unless I found new love in Maths and numbers. Well Tokyo is not fun anymore. She was playing crap the whole time there anyway. Hopefully she's fine though. Hope you're having fun at work.

Re: Next Stop: Scotland

Dee, I think Nichola hasn't beeing telling you the whole truth about Scotland, if you do go there, you will be shocked!, its a place where you have to have a strong stomach just to walk down the road, and if you go in one of their pubs, well survival at all costs is the key! or just don't go in
