i was on court 5 today

1st match was casanova vs randraintefy . . . holy carp can casanova hit the ball hard!!!! VERY scrappy macth with like 10 breaks of serve in the first set and that continued in the 2nd before myraim prevailed

then Cargill vs Black . .Cargill is a great player with some fabulous shots and a good tennis head . . she used her basline game to outwit blacks volley game

I also had doubles qualifying where the aussies bith got beaten by chadlkova and cargill although Hewson and Calderwood and then Stewart and Hewitt all played really good which is a promising sign

I was on center court for parts of Mystina vs Raymond and Pratt vs Znovera . . both russians looked really in control and look in fine form

Caught Kim Clisters, Justine Henin, Lleyton Hewiit and Mark Phillippousiss around the players loounge and had a quick word wit em

Hopefully on tomorow or Tuesday ill be a Centre court when the bulk of matches with the higher players are on

never the less another good day !!!!

Did you see Sargis Sargsian?

You should have seen the commotion in the practice area when Scud rocked up - noone could tell who it was so I just out of the blue blurted out the Scud's here <g> and next minute 30 people come rushing forward - it was one of the funniest things :)

Lindsay's arrived in Sydney but not sure if and/or when she'd be practising with Corina - I met Corina - one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and just wished her luck and just wanted to confirm she's playing doubles etc which she is <g>

What I overhead when she was practising is another story hence why not sure if they'll practise separately or together before their doubles match <g>

Don't ask me anymore because that is pretty much all I heard ;)

Raymond vs Myskina match - I was watching it inside Fanfest my God I looked at the screen and Myskina was serving for the match one minute then the next trying to save it - felt sorry for Raymond - though her doubles will probably make up for that which kick off tomorrow.

If he was there he was hitting on the practice courts

i saw a bunch of people standin at the gates and was wondering what was goin on . . cause i have the clearance to enter the players area i walked past em and saw mark inside the door, had a quick work with him before he went to get changed - if u were at those gates u probably saw me walk past u

then when he was practicing the crowd around him was HUGE!!!

hope the aussie males can get some victories

>If he was there he was hitting on the practice courts
>y do u ask that

Because at the time he wasn't hitting on the practice courts - he literally was arriving for the first time.

He was signing in to get his accreditation etc so and noone saw him actually arrive - because it is hidden away between where the cars rock up and the wall of the practice courts - you could see him talking to some other players in there.

That's when I simply blurted out it was him in the car about 2 mins later when people rocked up :)

It basically stayed that way till when I went back to Fanfest which was at 2.30pm and then later on he went to practise (basically what you said).

At least I got to meet Corina - major highlight - she's always one of the nicest people to meet :)
