i am excited because of th maleeva-match against the austrian boy. she won´t have a chance but will get some points thanksv to her tricky tennis!

r u sure is maleeva vs an austrian boy?I'm quite sure it's Schnyder vs a boy ranked #250 in the world.

schnyder was last year. on an austrian website they said that either barbara or maggie will play. i think mags is the one who plays.

perhaps maggie withdrew, shwe usually was scheduled to play. she wants not to interrupt her preparation, i think.

Rainer Schüttler (GER/ATP-Nr. 6), Jiri Novak (CZE/13), Sjeng Schalken (NED/18), Max Mirnyi (BLR/23), Stefan Koubek (AUT/54), Jürgen Melzer (AUT/80), Sargis Sargsian (ARM/39), Hyung-Taik Lee (KOR/53), Dominik Hrbaty (SVK/61) and Lars Burgsmüller (GER/77) – ten current top-100 tennis players will come to St. Anton am Arlberg. The first six players will take part in the tournament, the others come to practice for the tennis season 2004. In the womens competition Austrias FedCup-hero Barbara Schwartz will try her comeback after suffering from a serious wrist injury for nearly a year. The 24 year-old will challenge Barbara Schett (AUT), Barbara Rittner (GER) and Patty Schnyder (SUI) for the title. Switzerlands number one die not only win the last two womens competitions in 2000 and 2001, she also beat Tyrolean champion Patrik Mayr with 7:6, 7:5 in the "battle of sexes" last year. This year Austrias shootingstar 2003 Daniel Köllerer will try his luck and try to beat Schnyder.

It will take place from 10 to 13 december and it will be shown by local channel TW1 (free on air on Astra-19,2°).
