Amelie was absolutely terrible.

Kim played great, congratulations to her, she was flawless.

But it's awful for Amelie that she can't even perform decently on a big occasion. She's a head case and I feel bad for her.

I haven't seen the match, but i heard that kim said it was her best match of the year.
So well, she must have been playing really well.
Anyway, this must still be embarassing for a player like Mauresmo (ranked 4 !!)

How long to you have to work for that measly $91.848
Two years? Three years?

Two semi-finals like justine did this week in a Tier I, Tier II is not enough

Only the Top 115 earn atleast such money in one year!

Granted, Momo didn't exactly make Kim work for it, but Kim started and ended that match on fire and never gave Amelie a chance to get back in. No let-down, no yippage, no nothing. She deserved to win last night.

Congratulations to Kim on a great match and a great year. and my sympathies and shared outrage to US Kimmie fans for having her speech cut off/run over by ESPN!

Kim :D

I agree with what the Belgian commentators said:

- Kim can't help it that Amelie isn't playing her best tennis.
- Yes, she can!! And she does! She plays some brilliant tennis.

See ya at the aussie open, Kim ;)

Kim´s a bad match-up for Amelie, because Amelie hits with a lot of spin and that ain´t pressuring Kim AT ALL. Kim could really step in the court and dictate.

Should be interesting to see Kim´s play at the Oz this time.

Great job, Kim! I never thought it was gonna be so easy for you, though. You must have played really great! I'm just so happy for you. Would have been even sweeter had you and Aid snatched the doubles title as well.. But thanks for making Ai's already great season even greater!

Amelie.. must have been tough for you to stay on the court after the match after losing in such a humilating scoreline but you should be proud of yourself for having reached this far beaing the new year end no.1 in such a fantastic mannter! I'm sure more chances are on your way in the future! Better luck next time!

For sure! :drink:, miss! I wish the final would have been tighter, not even 50 minutes this time! At least Serena put up a fight, even after her marathon against Jen last year.

Oh, I asked Kim to finish it quickly. I needed some sleep. And by the way, I wasn't talking about Serena, that's old news.
