Dozens of prominent pro athletes have retired (most presumably in total sincerity) due to injury, loss of competive fire, etc., etc. and later changed their minds. So Marti may be totally sincere, but yet do the same.

Are you all daft?? Of course she's coming back! I have it on good authority that she will be the most famous ball girl at the aussie open in january. She's already got a new outfit and sneakers all picked out and has been training at camp williams by fetching balls for them.
