Wilson Hyper Hammer 4.0, not sure about the strings.

Can anyone explain to me the difference between strings and tensions, and what some good brands of string to get are?

Prince TT Warrior MP (Rafter)- strung now at 54 lbs-used to string at 59 but it doesn't have alot of power. Great racquet!

generally the lower the tension, the greater the power.

for strings- the lower the number the greater the longevity but supposedly less feel.

I'm using Wilson Extreme Spin 15L- just because I break alot of strings.

How do you like it? (huge Agassi fan here, but also interested in the racquet, lol!)

I love it. I used to play Wilson prostaff, but a few months ago I started playing with the head radical, and I went out and splurged on the new liquidmetal version. I'm pretty much a baseliner, and I feel like I can hit more put-away shots with this one.

What was written above is correct. The higher the tension, the less power the stick has. Additionally, it's also thought that the thinner the string, the more spin you can impart on the ball. Better strings will have better feel when hitting the ball.

Great strings- (Around $30-$35.00 including the string job.)
Gamma Livewire (what I use, in 17 gauge.)
Wilson NXT Tour
Luxilon Big Banger ALU

Good strings- (Around $25-$30.00 inclufing the string job.)
Prince Perfection
Head Intellitour
Forten Kevlar (If you tend to break strings a lot.)

Incredible strings (and the price reflects it- $50-$60.00 including the string job.)

I have 5 yonex rd to 80 (same raqcuet that Magdalena, Mary and Paradorn use) I have white yonex grips on all of them. I use the Babolat VS THermogut 16 string on all five. They are all tensioned at 59. I love the white grips, they look cool and are functional, does anyone else use over grips?

Yep, Prince No Sweat because like Rafter I tend to sweat alot. They help but on warm days the racquet is still only good for a set or so. (sorry if too much info :))
