View Full Version : Ai- new year end ranked #10!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nov 9th, 2003, 02:03 AM
I'm so happy and proud of Ai. I do believe alot of us said
that she will be in the top 10, and many people doubted it.
I think we were ahead of ourselves only because we felt
that it will happen during the US summer hardcourt season,
this is actually better. YEAR END number 10.

Her highest ranking prior to this was #11. ;)

I am so very happy for her. Ai is a great player to watch. She usually gives it her all. I think the only real difference this year is that she has been more consistent. She used to have great wins and then lose her next match, plus she didn't carry momentum from one tournament into the next.

It's a super ending for Ai's year. :yippee:

I'm super happy for her! She totally deserves it.
If only the Japanese media treated the news with more hype... Tennis players' accomplishments tend to be under-rated and under-reported in Japan as opposed to those of baseball players.
