How do the points in LA work? Anyone?
Cause this year it's round robin and they have to do it a little differently

It's the same points as last year for the winner, the runner-up and the semi-finalists. Last years' quarter-final points are allocated to the players who finish third in their respective groups this year. Last years' first round points are allocated to the players who finish last in their respective groups this year. Bonus points are allocated as per usual.

I was wondering how it would work...do bonus points still happen, though? As in, if the last player in a group goes 1-2, do they get 1st round points and bonus points for that win, or just 1st round points?

Can I get some more details?
1. Are there bonus points involved?
I Have a question regarding a rare hypothetical, but it could happen anyway at this point:
Given the following in the Black Group:
Capriati Beat Sugiyama 2 sets to 0
Henin Beat Myskina 2 sets to 1
And Given the following hypothetical for the rest of the games:
Capriati Beats Henin 2 sets to 0
Capriati Beats Myskina 2 sets to 0
Myskina Beats Sugiyama 2 sets to 1
Sugiyama Beats Henin 2 sets to 1
The result of the round robin would be:
Capriati Record: 3-0 with 6 sets winning to 0 sets losing
Henin Record: 1-2 with 3 sets winning to 5 sets losing
Myskina Record: 1-2 with 3 sets winning to 5 sets losing
Sugiyama Record: 1-2 with 3 sets winning to 5 sets losing
Capriati gets undisputed 1st place. 2nd place is tied between all 3 other players in match & set records.
QUESTION: Who gets the 2nd place into the Semifinals from the Black group... is it determined by the number of games played now???
