Kim gave Elena a masterclass, although Elena was a UE machine today!

Hopefully both Kim and Elena make it out of their groups! :)

I think it's safe to say that Clijsters owns Dementieva. :( But that was a lame performance by Elena.

Shoot!!! That wasn't the score I had predicted for that darn game!!! I thought it would be 6-1, 6-3...but the overall number of games won by each player matched. ;)

CONGRATS KIM!!!!

congrats to kimmy! she was far too good at everything today for elena...

the match wasn't very entertaining-- pretty disappointing if u ask me. elena had NO range on her groundies, i dont think she knew there the ball was going-- in several neutral rallies the hit shots that hardly made the doubles ally-- i guess thats the kind of pressure kim puts on players, but elena SUCKED on the run... hopefully she can pick her game up for the next one-- so this isnt a let down for her. it's actually better to play bad against someone who might even beat you when you're playing well than to suck against someone you should beat.

I will be very surprised if anyone can beat Kim here. The courts are tailor-made for her. Low bounce and slowness of court completely neutralise any power ( no wonder Serena had so much trouble on this surface against her )..

It is a surface for a defender and counter-puncher - for Kim Clijsters, that is..
