I honestly mean no disrespect to Justine, but why the heck is the award called "Hero of the Year"? Playing tennis good makes you a hero since when? I can see "Best Player" or something like that, but hero is a word tossed around too easily, IMO.
btw, I agree with her winning the award based on her year as she had two slams and most likely will end up #1, I just think the name is stupid.
