i think Dementieva can pull off the upset, but the question is, which Elena will show up. Will she try to put up a right. she can hang with kim, she just starts to spray so many balls.

I think it'll be an easy win for Kim. I wouldn't be surprised if Kim served Elena a bagel in the first set. I think Kim will have more of a fight in the second set. So I'm saying something like 6-1, 6-3. But heck...it could be 6-0, 6-1.

Kim is a great player, but people seem to underestimate Elena. Elena has got speed and power and a massive forehand to trouble Kim. Both are young rivals, and as stated, neither has played the other for a long time.

This is the pick of the 1st round matches today IMO.

I hope Elena comes out firing and closes this out.

Well if Elena tries to overpower Kim she doesn't have any chance. If she uses more variation and goes for her shots she can hope for an upset.
